  1. Open Argent X on your browser extension. Enter your password and click ‘Unlock’ to unlock your account.
  2. Click ‘Add Funds.’
  3. Click ‘Bridge Funds.’
  1. Click ‘StarkGate’ which will take you to https://starkgate.starknet.io/ (Official Starkware bridge)
  1. Select the network you would like to bridge your funds from and click ‘Connect Wallets.’ In this example we will be bridging assets from Ethereum -> Starknet. Important: If you are funding an empty Argent X account make sure you send ETH or STRK. You need ETH or STRK to pay for network fees on Starknet.
  2. Press ‘Get started.’
  3. Select your Ethereum wallet. We are using MetaMask in this example so we select ‘MetaMask.’
  1. Enter your MetaMask password and press ‘Unlock’ to connect your account to StarkGate.
  2. Next, click ‘Connect Starknet wallet.’
  3. Since we are using Argent, we select ‘Argent X.’
  1. Now that both of your wallets are connected, you can review the wallet address and balance of your accounts. Click ‘Continue’ once you have confirmed that you have connected the correct wallets.
  1. Enter the amount that you would like to bridge to your Starknet wallet. Click ‘Transfer.’
  2. Review your MetaMask transaction. Click ‘Confirm’ to sign the transaction once you have confirmed that the transaction amount, and addresses are correct.
  3. Your transaction should be confirmed within a few minutes. You will see ‘Transfer in progress’ while you wait.
  1. Click ‘View on Etherscan’ to check the progress of your transaction on Etherscan.
  2. Once your transaction is complete you can check the new balance of your account by opening Argent X.
  3. Bridging complete Your funds have now been bridged from Ethereum to your Argent X wallet on Starknet!
