Deposit/Withdraw Collateral

Depositing Collateral

1. Navigate to ‘deposit’ in the top right-hand corner of the page:

1. Enter the amount (in our example, BTC) you would like to deposit, for example 1 BTC:

2. After selecting ‘Deposit collateral’; confirm the transaction by selecting Confirm in the Argent X popup. This will require a small amount of ETH to process transaction fees:

3. If the attempt initiates correctly, you will see a pop-up indicating the transaction is pending:

Shortly thereafter, you will receive a confirmation that collateral has been successfully deposited:

4. You can also verify it in your wallet, or on Starkscan. You are now ready to use your collateral deposited, and it is viewable under the Account Summary dropdown:

Withdrawing Collateral

1. As long as we have some collateral free (i.e. collateral not used in resting orders or positions open), then we can withdraw said balance. First, navigate to ‘withdraw’ in the top right-hand corner of the page

2. Enter the amount (in our example, BTC) you would like to withdraw, for example 0.5 BTC:

3. After selecting ‘Withdraw collateral’; confirm the transaction by selecting Confirm in the Argent X popup. This will require a small amount of ETH to process transaction fees:

4. If the attempt initiates correctly, you will see a pop-up indicating the transaction is pending:

Shortly thereafter, you will receive a confirmation that collateral has been successfully withdrawn:

5. Your total collateral will again be updated, and it is viewable as usual under the Account Summary dropdown:
